VeryDarkMan is accused by Radiogad of embezzling ₦180m from an NGO and spending it on luxury cars and women

A social media figure known as Radiogad has accused VeryDarkMan of misappropriating ₦180 million out of a ₦200 million fund meant for an NGO, alleging the money was spent on extravagant cars and personal indulgences.
In a widely circulated video on X (formerly Twitter), Radiogad issued an ultimatum, giving VeryDarkMan 48 hours to return the supposedly embezzled funds.
These allegations emerged shortly after VeryDarkMan asserted that the same ₦180 million had been stolen through a cyberattack on the NGO’s website.
As of now, VeryDarkMan has yet to provide substantial evidence to support his claims, sparking significant backlash. Many Nigerians have accused him of concocting a story or attempting a poorly executed joke.
Radiogad, joining the wave of criticism, accused VeryDarkMan of dishonesty and demanded transparency.
In his video, Radiogad made strong allegations, expressing deep frustration over the unfolding controversy.
Words from his statement:
“VDM, I give you 48 hours to return that NGO money. Nigerians are not fools. I spit on your face for this. Anytime I wear this hat, know I’m in no mood for jokes.”
“VDM, you can’t fool us. My ₦200 million is in that NGO, and I’ve heard enough about your extravagant lifestyle—parties, cars, and women. You think we don’t know?”
“You claim hackers stole ₦180 million from a website. Is the money on the site or in a bank? This excuse sounds like something our politicians would say. Go back to your drawing board; this scam is cheap.”
Radiogad further accused VeryDarkMan of using the funds for personal gains instead of the intended public projects, such as building schools and boreholes.
He alleged that VeryDarkMan recently purchased a Benz and hosted lavish parties, casting doubt on his credibility.
“The money isn’t yours, VDM. It’s for the public. We trusted you to use it for good, so don’t betray us. Return the money and start the project immediately.”
As the allegations unfolded, social media users flooded the comment section to share their opinions, adding to the growing discourse around the controversial incident.
“VeryDarkMan used the 180million naira to buy a new Benz. Hand over the 180 million you took from the NGO within 48 hours. We’re not buying your story”
