TVC Managing Director Morayo Afolabi Brown Sends Heartfelt Public Note to Nollywood Actress Iyabo Ojo
Morayo Afolabi Brown, the Managing Director of TVC, has publicly extended her support to Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo through a touching message on Instagram. Despite not knowing her personally, Morayo expressed love and reassurance, emphasizing the need for solidarity among women.
In her post, Morayo acknowledged the challenges Iyabo is facing and commended her noble intentions, which she believes have been misconstrued. She conveyed her support by stating:
“@iyaboojofespris Girl, I don’t know you. Not sure we’ve ever met. Thought to send you a public note. We all need love and reassurance at times like these. Today, woman to woman, I’m sending you some love. All some of us see is a woman with noble intentions whose actions may have been misconstrued. Either way, no one is perfect, absolutely no one. No matter what this season looks like or sounds like, just know there are positive women worldwide, sending you love and kisses. You are enough.”
While Morayo offered support, actress Sonia Ogiri criticized Iyabo, questioning her actions and advising her to learn from colleagues like Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Ekeinde. Sonia also urged Iyabo’s boyfriend, Paulo Okoye, to intervene.
Iyabo Ojo has been in the spotlight recently, particularly following her presence at singer Davido’s wedding. Controversial activist Very Dark Man (VDM) alleged that Iyabo was not invited to the main wedding, a claim she refuted with evidence. The tension between Iyabo and VDM has been ongoing for months, stemming from Iyabo’s involvement in the late singer Mohbad’s case. VDM has made several derogatory remarks about Iyabo, leading to a heated exchange between them.
Morayo’s message highlights the importance of empathy and support during challenging times, offering a refreshing perspective amidst the ongoing controversies.
