Tobi Adeboyega at risk of being deported to Nigeria due to accusations of £1.87m fraud
Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega, based in the UK, is facing deportation to Nigeria over accusations of a £1.87 million fraud.
In 2022, the UK High Court shut down Adegboyega’s church, Salvation Proclaimer Ministry Limited, following allegations of financial mismanagement and lack of transparency.
Adegboyega, who has overstayed his visitor visa, has been living in the UK unlawfully.
In a recent ruling, the UK Immigration Tribunal decided that Adegboyega should be deported to Nigeria, citing concerns about his church’s financial practices and transparency.
While further details of the ruling have not been revealed, and Adegboyega has yet to comment on the decision, it’s worth noting that he recently celebrated his birthday in the UK with Nigerian music star Davido and other prominent figures from the Nigerian entertainment industry.
