TG Omori Reveals His Kidney Failure and How His Brother Helped Him
Nigerian music video director TG Omori, also known as ThankGod Omori Jesam, recently surprised many by posting a photo of himself in a hospital bed, wearing an oxygen mask. This image quickly spread online after he shared it on Instagram.
In the caption of the photo on his Instagram story, TG Omori wrote, “Keep my spirit alive.” Once the picture went viral, many people began asking him what was wrong and why he had been absent from social media.
Later, TG Omori opened up about his health struggles on his X account (formerly Twitter). He revealed that his younger brother had saved his life by donating a kidney to him just a day before the picture was posted. Both of TG Omori’s kidneys had been removed due to multiple organ failures.
TG Omori is not the only Nigerian celebrity who has experienced kidney failure and undergone surgery to survive.
