Rudeboy publicly criticizes his twin brother, Peter Okoye, for releasing a new song
Nigerian singer Rudeboy has publicly criticized his twin brother, Peter Okoye, over his new song, accusing him of using his work without permission.
Famzigist recently reported that Rudeboy confirmed the rumors about his fallout with Peter and even claimed Peter was involved in getting him arrested by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter announced his new single, “Attention,” on Instagram, sharing that it’s now available on all music platforms and inviting fans to check it out and subscribe to his YouTube channel.
But Rudeboy responded to this, alleging that “Attention” is actually his own work. He claimed that he originally wrote and performed the song, which was intended for release in June 2025.
Rudeboy expressed his frustration by writing: “Song title: WINNING, written and sung by RUDEBOY, produced by the same producer. So how did this happen? Should I release another version? Mr. Producer, we’ll have to talk about this later.”
He went on to say, “All I asked was to bring 6 songs, I’d bring 6 as well. I submitted my songs to management. So why re-record my song, word for word? This song was supposed to be on my album next year in June.”
