The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the sad news of the death of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, the wife of the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno. Ini Ememobong, the state’s Commissioner for Information, shared this news early Friday morning, revealing that she passed away after an unspecified illness.
In a statement titled “Unexpected Sunset,” Ememobong expressed, “With heavy hearts, we inform you of the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State. She died peacefully in the hospital on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family.”
