Pastor Jeremiah’s Miracle Water and Soap Under NAFDAC Investigation
NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) has warned Nigerians about a faith-based group, Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. NAFDAC says the ministry is misleading people by using its name to sell unapproved products.
On Sunday, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, NAFDAC’s Director General, made a statement highlighting that none of the products being promoted by the ministry are officially registered with NAFDAC.
NAFDAC has received complaints about the ministry’s Miracle Water and Miracle Soap, which are claimed to cure various conditions, including infertility. The ministry has advertised these products on social media, making claims about their effectiveness and falsely stating that they are registered with NAFDAC.
The agency investigated and found that these products, including Miracle Water and Healing Water, are not registered. NAFDAC contacted local officials in Delta State and visited the ministry, but the officials denied producing the products, despite evidence to the contrary.
Further investigation revealed that the ministry was involved with a factory that was illegally producing these unregistered products. NAFDAC has since shut down the factory and is continuing its investigation into the ministry’s activities.
NAFDAC advises the public not to buy these Miracle products and assures them that it will keep working to protect their health.
