Nigerian Doctor Receives Unexpected Gesture from Patient’s Daughter After Mentioning Hunger
A Nigerian doctor shared a surprising gesture from a patient’s daughter who overheard him talking about missing breakfast.
The doctor, @Eqraam, narrated to X how he had been discussing not having breakfast with a colleague that morning. Unknown to him, a patient’s daughter had overheard the conversation and decided to make him tea, along with a note that included her phone number.
Sharing the note, the doctor expressed how the gesture seemed very weird and completely unexpected.
“Something weird happened to me in the hospital today. I went on ward rounds this morning. This Fulani lady, who is taking care of her mom, heard me telling one of my colleagues that I haven’t had breakfast. After I finished the ward rounds, I came back to this on my table. A cup of tea/biscuit and a note 📝. It’s weird🫠,” he wrote.
The letter accompanying the breakfast read:
“HI Dr, Breakfast is the best way to start the day and being able to share it with you makes it even sweeter.
– AISHA YUSUF JIBRILLA
– CALL ME: 08*******
Take care of yourself.”
The post has sparked mixed reactions, with many suggesting that the lady has a crush on the doctor.
