Miss Universe Nigeria Contest: Who Will Wear the Crown Tonight?
This evening, all eyes will be on the Convention Centre at Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, as the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant takes place. The event is set to be a lively and entertaining showcase of talent, grace, and excellence, with 25 contestants competing for the prestigious crown.
One standout contestant to keep an eye on is Chidinma Adetshina. She was invited to join this year’s competition after stepping down from the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant due to controversy over her eligibility. Chidinma will represent Taraba State in tonight’s competition.
However, she will face tough competition from others like Uchechi Uchenna, a former Miss VILLAFFEST representing Enugu State, Muna Nkumeh from Abia State, Ella Igbodor from Cross River State, and Ify Jawara from Osun State, among others.
Each contestant is expected to share her unique vision and aspirations for the Miss Universe Nigeria title, aiming to impress the judges. This year’s pageant is especially notable as it includes married women, single women, and divorced ladies, adding to the event’s diversity and appeal.
Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with beauty, elegance, and empowerment. The event will be further enhanced by live performances from popular artists Noon Dave and Qing Madi. Noon Dave will light up the stage with his latest hit “Pressure,” while Qing Madi, known for her popular songs “See Finish” and “Ole,” will captivate the audience with her performances.
The winner of tonight’s competition will walk away with a grand prize of N10 million, along with other rewards, and will go on to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November. The first runner-up will also get the chance to compete in the Miss Supranational pageant.
As Nigerians eagerly anticipate the crowning moment, tonight’s event promises to be a memorable celebration of beauty, talent, and purpose, marking a significant chapter in the history of the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
