The rape accusation against French footballer Kylian Mbappe has been dropped due to a lack of enough evidence.
Swedish prosecutor Marina Chirakova announced this on Thursday.
She explained that the investigation into the alleged rape and sexual assault has been closed because there isn’t enough evidence to move forward.
Chirakova also mentioned that Mbappe has not been informed of any suspicion of criminal activity.
