Lateef Adedimeji Teases Exciting Project with D’banj: “It’s About to Be a Movie
Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has generated significant buzz among his fans and followers by teasing an upcoming project with award-winning singer D’banj. Taking to his Instagram page, Adedimeji shared photos of himself with the iconic artist, hinting at a collaboration that promises to be spectacular.
“Outside with DA KOKO MASTER himself @iambangalee,” Adedimeji wrote. “Something is brewing, o ma gbona felifeli,” suggesting that whatever they are working on will be immensely hot.
D’banj, popularly known as the Koko Master, responded in the comments, adding to the excitement by saying, “Brother Lee. It’s about to be a movie.”
In May, Lateef Adedimeji reflected on his early career struggles during an interview, sharing how he used to earn as little as N4,000 for a lead role. This isn’t the first time Adedimeji has spoken about his modest beginnings. Ahead of his birthday last year, he revealed that he was once paid just N5,000 for a lead role. He recounted how his natural talent for making people laugh opened doors for him despite being a helpless young boy.
Lateef Adedimeji’s career has significantly progressed since those early days. Recently, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Lead Role at the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), though he lost to Wole Ojo. However, he won an award for his performance in Femi Adebayo’s movie, *Jagun Jagun*. Adedimeji expressed how honored he felt to share the stage with Nollywood legends, vowing never to forget the moment.
Fans eagerly await the outcome of Adedimeji and D’banj’s collaboration, anticipating a project that will undoubtedly leave a mark on the entertainment industry.
