Kanayo O. Kanayo Condemns Teenage Actress Angel Unigwe’s Conduct on Movie Set
Nigerian actor Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, popularly known as Kanayo O. Kanayo, has expressed his frustration on social media over the conduct of teenage actress Angel Unigwe. Posting on his official Instagram page, Kanayo criticized Angel and her mother for not adhering to their agreement, which disrupted production.
Kanayo shared that he had heard stories about Angel and her mother’s behavior on movie sets and unfortunately experienced it firsthand. He alleged that Angel’s mother altered her conduct after securing a contract and producer payment. Specifically, she took Angel away from the set at 9 p.m., despite an agreement to shoot until 12 a.m.
Kanayo issued a stern warning to producers: “From this moment, 21st day of June 2024, any set that employs the services of Angel Unigwe, I will come to that set and make sure filming does not hold. This is not a threat to anybody.” He emphasized the importance of professionalism and urged producers to be cautious, noting that Angel’s mother had previously threatened other producers. Kanayo vowed to monitor and disrupt any future film sets involving Angel Unigwe to uphold industry standards.
