Ibrahim Chatta Reveals How He Funded His Viral Film Village
Veteran Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta recently shared the remarkable story of how he managed to fund his N1.4 billion film village in Oyo State. In a video that has gained a lot of attention, Chatta revealed that he didn’t take any loans to finance the project.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Chatta found an unexpected way to earn the large sum needed. He began offering personalized shout-outs, working alongside fellow actor Tayo Sobola. Each shout-out earned him around N300,000, and the high demand for these requests played a major role in his financial success.
Before this, Chatta had no savings and was struggling to complete some of his other property projects, which had stalled. He had been praying for the funds to finish one particular project that was stuck at the lintel level.
Chatta believes his success was a result of divine intervention and expressed deep gratitude to God for the timely help.
