Halima Abubakar discusses mental health struggles and past controversies
Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar recently shared a mental health update, expressing frustration over her healing process.
To recap, Abubakar was indefinitely suspended by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) following a panel review. The suspension stemmed from allegations of defamation, rumored extramarital relationships with prominent figures, and accusations of slander directed at her colleagues and patrons.
Since her suspension, Abubakar issued a public apology to Nigerian cleric Apostle Johnson Suleman, addressing longstanding issues between them.
In a recent Instagram story, she alluded to deeper emotional challenges, revealing that healing alone isn’t sufficient and expressing a desire to erase her memories.
“Healing isn’t enough; I need my memory erased,” she posted on her story.
