Fuel Scarcity: Filling Stations in Isolo and Ejigbo Are Empty
The ongoing fuel scarcity crisis impacts the filling stations in Isolo and Ejigbo areas within Lagos State.
From Isolo to Ile-epo Ejigbo, Famzi Gist noticed that only the TotalEnergies station at the NNPC bus stop in Ejigbo was partially operational. It had limited fuel availability and intermittently opened its gates to allow a few vehicles to buy petrol.
The other stations such as TotalEnergies, Oke-afa, AOG Oke-afa, MRS, Jakande Gate, and NNPC at Jakande Gate in Ejigbo, along with Petrocam Ile-epo in Ejigbo, were completely deserted. Some of these stations had their gates locked, indicating their closure.
At the same time, when our correspondent reached TechnOil at Isolo bus stop, they were in the process of receiving their fuel products.
One of the attendants present mentioned, “We haven’t sold any fuel since this morning because we didn’t have any product in stock. However, we will have stock tomorrow as our shipment has just arrived.
