Folakemi Takes Legal Action Against VDM After 24-Hour Ultimatum

Folakemi Falana, the sister of rapper Falz and daughter of renowned lawyer Femi Falana, has announced plans to sue VeryDarkMan (VDM) after he didn’t comply with their request within 24 hours.

On September 25, Falz and his father sent a letter through their lawyers, asking VDM to apologize and retract his statements about a supposed audio conversation involving Bobrisky. VDM claims he did not defame either Falz or his father.

In an Instagram post, Folakemi voiced her frustration, highlighting that her family and their law firm, Falana & Falana, have been advocating for presidential pardons for Nigerians for years, long before many people were even born. She shared examples from 2016 and 2022 to illustrate her point.

She criticized how quickly some people forget her family’s reputation when faced with false claims. Folakemi expressed disbelief that VDM’s accusations of bribery, corruption, and suggesting that Falz is homosexual and involved with Bobrisky could make people doubt her family. She was shocked that some believe these allegations.

She clarified that anyone can request a presidential pardon in Nigeria, regardless of whether they are a lawyer, adding that Bobrisky never approached her family for help with a pardon.

Folakemi listed some key points:

1. Her father has never met or spoken to Bobrisky.
2. Bobrisky contacted Falz for money, not for a pardon, saying he needed it to afford VIP treatment in prison.
3. She questioned why her father or Falz would need Bobrisky’s money.

She ended her message by stating that since VDM has not taken the necessary actions, they will see him in court.
