EPL: Arteta hails Iwobi’s adaptability and performance at Fulham
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised Alex Iwobi for his outstanding performances with Fulham this season.
The Nigerian midfielder, who joined Fulham from Everton last summer, has scored five goals in 15 Premier League games under coach Marco Silva. Iwobi also played a crucial role in Fulham’s recent 1-1 draw against Arsenal.
Reflecting on Iwobi’s growth, Arteta admired his unique abilities, saying: “I’ve always been a big fan of his talent and special qualities. He’s versatile and can adapt to different positions. It’s great to see him playing so well.”
At 28, Iwobi has become an important player for both Fulham and the Nigerian national team.
