Bobrisky responds to allegations about a N4M debt
Bobrisky, a well-known and often controversial crossdresser, recently addressed allegations of owing ₦4 million, providing his side of the story regarding the situation.
The year 2024 has been challenging for Bobrisky, marked by multiple controversies, including a clash with the Nigerian Immigration Service. Before leaving Nigeria, he was briefly detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at Lagos’ Murtala Mohammed Airport but was released shortly after.
Now residing in Amsterdam, Bobrisky appears to be enjoying a life of luxury, as seen in his Instagram updates. In a recent post, he firmly denied the ₦4 million debt allegation and shed light on his interactions with the accuser.
Bobrisky explained that he first met the accuser, identified as Bintini, in 2017, when he was paid $3,000 for a meet-and-greet event in the United States. Years later, in 2022, Bintini reportedly expressed romantic interest in Bobrisky, which he declined.
In 2023, Bintini visited Nigeria to propose a business deal, arranging to meet Bobrisky in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. However, instead of focusing on the deal, Bintini allegedly made advances that Bobrisky rejected.
Bobrisky clarified the debt allegations, stating that during his EFCC detention, Bintini offered him ₦4 million as financial support when he asked for assistance. Following Bobrisky’s release, he chose to distance himself from Bintini, which prompted the latter to demand a refund.
To reinforce his account, Bobrisky shared screenshots of their conversations, emphasizing that he had also provided social media promotion services for Bintini’s events.
