Blaqbonez shares his story about being abandoned by his father at birth
Popular musician Emeka Akumefule, better known as Blaqbonez, recently opened up about his childhood and the absence of his father in his life.
In a candid chat with Chude Jideonwo, the “Back in Uni” artist shared that his father left shortly after his birth, leaving him to grow up without a paternal figure.
Blaqbonez also made waves during the interview by confidently declaring himself “the best rapper in Africa.” He explained that his extensive and impressive body of work sets him apart from other African rappers.
Reflecting on his upbringing, he said, “My dad left when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad.”
