Biola Bayo shares how Ibrahim Chatta supported her after experiencing rejections
Actress Biola Bayo has shared her heartfelt thanks to her colleague, Ibrahim Chatta, for his incredible kindness and support.
In a detailed post on Instagram, Biola opened up about the struggles she faced in booking guests for her show. She described the constant rejections she received, even from friends, which left her feeling hurt.
Despite these challenges, Biola revealed how Ibrahim Chatta came through for her at the last minute. Even though he lives in Oyo state and has a packed schedule, he agreed to appear on her show when she reached out. She was deeply moved by his words, calling her a “good person,” which brought her to tears.
Biola praised Ibrahim, calling him “one in a million” and prayed for God’s continued blessings on his life. She also asked her followers to say a prayer for him, expressing her deep gratitude for his support.
In her post, Biola wrote: “Getting guests for the show has been one of my toughest challenges. It’s painful to face constant rejection, even from people you know. But I try not to be bitter and focus on improving every day until I reach the top, with God’s grace.
“On Sunday, I was supposed to shoot four episodes on Monday, but two guests canceled. I was upset, as I was losing money and someone’s life was at stake. I didn’t think I could find anyone on such short notice, but then I felt a strong urge to call Ibrahim. It seemed impossible, given his busy schedule and that he lives far away in Oyo. But I took the chance and called. Thankfully, he answered and was happy to hear from me.
“He asked about the show, and I told him about the challenges with getting guests. Then he said, ‘Why would anyone say no to you? You’re a good person.’ I almost cried. Then he added, ‘I’ll come tomorrow. I’ll cancel some of my appointments, even though I don’t have anything to wear in Lagos. I’ll find something and be there before I leave tomorrow.’
“It was almost unbelievable, but he kept his word. He even asked others to help me on the show without discussing it with me.
“Ibrahim, you are truly one of a kind. I celebrate the grace of God on your life. I’ll never forget this act of kindness. I pray you live a long, joyful life and never face sorrow over the things that make you happy. May God continue to bless you abundantly.
“Thank you so much, Abiodun Ajadi (@ibrahimchatta_lordthespis). Please join me in praying for him.”
