B-Red opens up about his thoughts on Wizkid and responds to trolls targeting Davido
Popular singer B-Red shared his thoughts on Nigerian trolls and Wizkid’s criticism of his cousin, Davido, during a recent interview on City 105.1 FM.
When asked how he felt about Davido frequently being the target of online backlash, including from Wizkid, the anchor referenced the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer’s past remarks about the DMW boss.
“How do you feel when Davido gets dragged online, especially by a renowned artist like Wizkid?” she inquired.
B-Red responded with a composed perspective, suggesting that public scrutiny is a sign of success in the music industry. He pointed out that even legendary figures like Michael Jackson faced criticism.
“If you’ve never been dragged, you haven’t really blown. Even the greatest like Michael Jackson get insulted when they post pictures. Fame comes with people having opinions about you—it’s just part of life,” he explained.
The interview sparked varied reactions online:
@OG_TWI commented: “He’s wiser than Davido.”
@OTM_JONES questioned: “What kind of answer did she expect though?”
@Ebukaderealking praised: “Smart response. I really like B-Red.”
@Mr_harmless11 joked: “Lol, she probably wanted him to diss Wizkid for the headlines. Nice response, B-Red, but Davido’s still a scammer sha.”
