Atiku’s aide accuses Daniel Bwala of retracting his stance on Tinubu’s appointments
Paul Ibe, the media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has strongly criticized Daniel Bwala, the Presidential Spokesman. Ibe accused Bwala of lacking integrity and claimed that if Bwala had any sense of shame, he wouldn’t contradict himself so openly.
This response came after Bwala alleged that certain TV guests and hosts were conspiring against him. Ibe dismissed these claims, accusing Bwala of trying to divert attention from important national issues by playing the victim.
According to Famzigist, Bwala recently accused some media personalities of working against him, sparking Ibe’s sharp reaction. Ibe expressed disbelief, saying Bwala’s allegations show an unwillingness to take responsibility for valid criticisms.
Ibe went further, questioning Bwala’s sincerity and stating, “If you had any shame, you wouldn’t be contradicting yourself like this. Is this a case of your hand at work, but someone else’s voice speaking?”
He also accused Bwala of compromising his principles for personal gain, saying, “You’ve traded your dignity for your own benefit.”
Bwala’s appointment as Presidential Spokesman, following his previous role as spokesperson for the 2023 PDP Presidential Campaign, has stirred controversy. Atiku’s team has labeled him a betrayer of his former political allies.
