‘Are we children?’ – Uproar as VeryDarkMan alleges ₦180m of ₦200m NGO funds hacked
Renowned online figure, VeryDarkMan, has come under fire on social media after alleging that ₦180 million was stolen from his NGO’s website, leaving just ₦20 million untouched.
In a video making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed his distress, saying, “I haven’t been myself for the past few days. Our NGO website was hacked, and somehow, ₦180 million vanished.”
This incident occurs only weeks after he unveiled his NGO, which was established to enhance Nigeria’s education sector.
During the launch, VeryDarkMan shared his bank account details, prompting hundreds of Nigerians, including prominent celebrities, to contribute millions to support the initiative.
Shockingly, less than a month later, he disclosed that ₦180 million of the ₦200 million raised had allegedly been stolen due to the website breach.
The announcement has stirred significant controversy, with many questioning his claims and accusing him of dishonesty, tarnishing his reputation.
