APC Governors Call for Youths to Avoid Chaos During Protests

Imo State Governor and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma, has urged Nigerian youth to steer clear of actions that could disrupt the country.

After meeting with other APC governors, Uzodimma spoke to the press about the federal government’s dedication to tackling economic challenges. He encouraged young people to back these efforts instead of creating turmoil.

“We want to advise our young people to avoid being drawn into causing trouble,” Uzodimma said, surrounded by his colleagues.

He pointed out the significant struggles Nigerians are facing due to global economic issues, insecurity, and political tensions worsened by opposition campaigns and social media criticisms of government policies.

Uzodimma emphasized the need for national unity and asked the youth to show patriotism during these tough times.

“Nigerians have already endured a lot. We urge everyone to act in the country’s best interest and show patriotism. We only have one country, and we must take responsibility for it,” he said.

The governor assured that the federal government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is working hard on economic reforms to ease current hardships.

“We understand that there are initial problems with these new policies, but we believe they are the key to solving our current issues. We are confident that things will improve soon and prosperity will follow,” Uzodimma added.

The APC Governors Forum hopes this message will discourage youth from disruptive behavior and encourage support for the government’s efforts toward long-term success for Nigeria.
