Ancelotti Applauds Endrick’s Courageous 25-Yard Goal in Madrid’s Victory Over Stuttgart
Real Madrid comfortably won their Champions League opener, beating Stuttgart 3-1, with 18-year-old Endrick Felipe standing out for his game-changing goal.
The young forward scored an impressive long-range goal from 25 yards late in the match, helping to secure the victory for Madrid.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti praised Endrick’s bold decision to take the shot rather than pass during a counterattack.
“He’s got guts because it was a counterattack, and he had the courage to go for the goal,” said Ancelotti.
Although they won, Ancelotti admitted the game wasn’t without its tough moments.
“We faced some challenges, but that’s normal. You always have to struggle a bit, especially early on when you’re not at your best,” he added.
