American Actress Erica Ash Passes Away at 46
American actress Erica Ash, known for her roles in “Survivor’s Remorse” and the BET series “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” has passed away at the age of 46.
Erica Ash was also featured on the Fox sketch comedy show “Mad TV” for two seasons. She had a notable presence on BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and the Starz series “Survivor’s Remorse.”
She died on Sunday in Los Angeles after a long illness, as reported by her publicist, Elizabeth Much.
Elizabeth described Erica as “an amazing woman and talented entertainer who touched many lives with her wit, humor, and genuine love for life,” adding that her memory will remain in their hearts forever.
Erica also played the role of Gwen Sullivan, a strong public defender, on the 2018 BET drama “In Contempt.”
She initially gained recognition on Logo’s “The Big Gay Sketch Show,” which aired from 2006 to 2008 and was produced by Rosie O’Donnell. Erica’s film credits include “Scary Movie V” (2013), “Uncle Drew” (2018), “The Big Bend” (2021), and “Violet” (2021).
In “Survivor’s Remorse,” she portrayed Mary Charles (“M-Chuck”) Calloway, the half-sister of Cam Calloway, played by Jessie T. Usher, across all four seasons from 2014 to 2017. The show was produced by LeBron James through his Spring Hill Productions.
