According to Dell, innovation relies heavily on having a robust IT infrastructure.
Dell Technologies, an American IT company, believes that strong and reliable IT infrastructure is key to driving customer innovation and business growth, particularly in the age of artificial intelligence.
At the recent Innovate with Data Summit in Lagos, Tosin Amusa, Dell’s Senior Sales Manager for Storage Platforms and Solutions, discussed how IT infrastructure needs to evolve to support diverse workloads. He stated that any infrastructure that doesn’t support business ideas is ineffective. He stressed the importance of high-performance infrastructure that can handle various workloads to foster business growth both now and in the future.
Amusa mentioned Powerflex as an example of an IT solution that meets the dynamic needs of organizations. He explained that data fuels innovation, but organizations must find the right solutions to work with their data effectively.
Dell Technologies offers a range of AI-ready solutions to help customers speed up innovation. By integrating Generative AI, customers can use their data, insights, and infrastructure to drive next-generation transformations.
Abdelmouhssin Sarsri, Regional Manager for Central West Africa at Dell Technologies, highlighted the crucial role of innovation for business success in Africa during his keynote address at the summit. He emphasized that generative AI can revolutionize businesses and is central to Dell’s strategy, noting that they are already seeing its benefits.
However, Sarsri acknowledged that some organizations struggle to keep up with rapid changes, finding it challenging to balance innovation with daily operations. He stressed the importance of using data securely and efficiently to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Sarsri explained that Dell Technologies sees innovation as the driving force behind transformation. It begins with people and their ideas, powered by data. Dell works with organizations to secure and modernize their technology responsibly, enhancing operational efficiencies and productivity. This approach focuses on improving existing technology rather than replacing it, ultimately benefiting the organizations.
