Naomi’s Sister Shares Update on Arrest, Raises Health Concerns
Simi Oluwaseyi, the sister of Naomi, who is the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, has shared an update regarding her sister’s arrest, mentioning concerns about her health.
Naomi was reportedly detained following a tragic stampede in Ibadan that claimed the lives of 35 people.
In several Instagram posts, Simi expressed her condolences to the grieving families while raising worries about Naomi’s condition.
She explained that during Naomi’s third day in custody, she collapsed while being questioned by the Department of State Services (DSS) and had to be taken to the hospital.
Simi also mentioned that before Naomi appeared in court, a doctor warned that her blood pressure was dangerously high. She added that Naomi was not allowed to contact her family or use her phone during her detention.
Simi’s post included the statement: “I deeply sympathize with the families who lost their children. My sister was detained for over six days, collapsed on the third day of DSS interrogation, and was rushed to the hospital.”
