Baltasar Engonga, head of Equatorial Guinea’s National Agency for Financial Investigation, is at the center of a scandal, facing allegations of infidelity with around 400 women amidst ongoing corruption probes.
More than 300 explicit videos featuring Engonga have surfaced on social media, sparking widespread outrage. These videos depict the official in sexual acts with numerous women, including colleagues and influential figures linked to Equatorial Guinea’s upper echelons.
The release of these videos aligns with an active corruption investigation into Engonga’s activities. The content was reportedly uncovered during an unannounced search of his home and office by ANIF officials.
The footage allegedly reveals Engonga’s involvement with multiple women, including Zinash Tayachew, Ethiopia’s First Lady, his cousin, and spouses of various ministers.
In a tragic development, reports indicate that a woman featured in the videos has taken her own life.
