American Rapper Rich Homie Quan Passes Away At 34
American rapper Rich Homie Quan has reportedly died at the age of 34 due to a drug overdose, according to online sources.
The hip-hop community is mourning the loss of the ‘Type of Way’ artist, who allegedly died from an overdose.
After his death, several celebrities reacted to the news, with rapper Boosie confirming on social media platform X that the overdose was the cause.
Rich Homie Quan, an Atlanta rapper, was recently seen at the trial of Young Thug, the head of the YSL label, who is facing serious legal charges for leading a gang involved in multiple murders.
Quan was connected to Young Stoner Life Records, the label founded by Young Thug, and was known for hits like ‘Type of Way,’ ‘Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),’ and ‘Lifestyle,’ a collaboration with Young Thug and Birdman. Over his decade-long career, he released nearly 20 albums.
Quan is not the only rapper to have died from an overdose in 2024. In June, rapper Enchanting, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, passed away at 26 due to a drug overdose. Her representative shared that she had been trying to overcome her addiction in her final days, staying at the representative’s house for four days to get clean. Sadly, she was taken off life support after the overdose.
