Funke Akindele’s Response to a Netizen’s Criticism About Her Movie Roles
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele recently had a sharp comeback for someone online who suggested she should stop starring in her own movies.
On the social media platform X, Funke shared a video of herself dancing to promote her upcoming film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” which is set to release in December.
A user with the handle @Godbles82 commented, implying that Funke might have more success if she didn’t act in her own movies. The user said, “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”
Funke’s response was quick and witty: “Maybe you could do better logging out of this app.”
