Davido Seeks Prayers for TG Omori During Kidney Transplant Journey
Chelsea is reportedly getting ready to make their first official offer for Napoli’s striker, Victor Osimhen, according to Football Italia.
Osimhen, who played a crucial role in Napoli’s recent championship win, has been on the market this summer despite his importance to the team.
The Nigerian striker, who was key in helping Napoli win their first Serie A title in over 30 years and ended the season as the top scorer, is currently not part of Antonio Conte’s immediate plans at the Stadio Maradona.
Napoli had included a large €130 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract during last year’s renegotiation, but they’ve had trouble finding a buyer willing to meet that price.
While Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) initially showed interest, they haven’t made a formal offer yet.
Osimhen has also been hesitant for Napoli to accept a €70 million offer from the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that although PSG is still interested, Chelsea is eager to make a move before them.
The exact amount of Chelsea’s upcoming bid hasn’t been revealed, but they’re also considering signing Brentford forward Ivan Toney.
