Flavour Shares Insights on His Early Music Industry Transition

Highlife singer Chinedu Okoli, known as Flavour N’abania, recently shared his journey in the music industry during an interview on the UK’s “In My Opinion” podcast.

Flavour talked about how he started by performing for small audiences in the eastern part of Nigeria, where he quickly won them over with his music.

Realizing he needed a larger audience, he decided to take a night bus to Lagos, confident that he had what it took to succeed.

The next day, he recorded his first song and reached out to Nigerian rapper Mr Raw, asking for a collaboration.

Mr Raw agreed, added his part to the song, and Flavour returned to Enugu with the CD. The song became a hit, and Flavour produced and sold many copies of it.

Flavour also shared that he learned a lot about being an artist from Mr Raw.
