Josh2Funny Reveals Why He Stopped Crossdressing in Comedy Skits
Comedian Josh Alfred, also known as Josh2Funny, shared why he stopped dressing as a woman in his comedy skits. He said that while playing the female character “Mama Felicia,” he got unwanted attention from male fans.
Josh talked about this on The Honest Bunch podcast. He explained that the uncomfortable advances were the main reason he switched from “Mama Felicia” to a male character, “Brother Zacchaeus.”
Josh2Funny mentioned that changing characters helped him avoid more embarrassing situations. Some men even got his phone number and contacted him on WhatsApp.
He said, “My female character was purely for comedy. Anyone who liked me because of it didn’t understand it was meant to be silly. ‘Mama Felicia’ was a ridiculous character. One guy contacted me on WhatsApp saying he liked me. I told him I’d pray for him to go blind in two weeks if he didn’t stop. He begged me to stop. That’s part of why I dropped the character.”
Josh2Funny added, “I became ‘Brother Zacchaeus’ to avoid wearing female clothes. I used the same accent but dressed as a man. It was getting embarrassing because I just wanted to make people laugh.”
