Kunle Remi Responds to Fan Urging Him to Keep Marriage Private
Nollywood actor Kunle Remi responded to a fan’s suggestion to keep his marriage off social media. Kunle had posted a video on Instagram celebrating his wife Tiwi’s birthday, sharing that he wished he could access her gallery due to her comic content.
“Before I met Tiwi! I wish I could hack her gallery. Una go laugh tire. Chai and she is not on IG oo,” he wrote.
A fan commented, advising him to keep his wife off social media to avoid negative attention:
“You no go keep ur fine gentle wife nau o. Not let these bitter cola wey full social media reason ur matter boda saro.”
Kunle replied, stating that no bitterness could spoil their joy, love, and laughter unless it could reach God:
“Ise ti oluwa o, ko le baje. No bitterness can spoil our joy, love, and no bitterness. Except it can reach God.”
Kunle Remi had previously made headlines on New Year’s Day when he announced his marriage to Tiwi, whom he had engaged in 2023. The actor shared that their engagement lacked a proposal video due to its spontaneity.
Two weeks later, the couple had their traditional wedding in Lagos, attended by celebrities like Toyin Abraham, Mofe Duncan, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Bimbo Ademoye, all in white Agbadas. The following day, they had their white wedding, with notable guests including billionaire Otedola and his family, who came to support Tiwi, Otedola’s niece.
Post-wedding, Kunle credited his glowing skin to his marriage, humorously attributing it to “sucking his wife’s breast” and recommending fans to read the book of Proverbs for more insights.
