Daddy Freeze’s Wife, Benedicta Elechi, Speaks Up Amid Adultery Accusations, Defends Husband and Exposes ex-Husband
Benedicta Elechi, the wife of media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, known as Daddy Freeze, has taken to Instagram Live to clear her name amid ongoing adultery accusations. This comes after the Supreme Court upheld a N5 million lawsuit against Daddy Freeze for alleged adultery with Elechi.
During the live session, Elechi revealed that she filed for divorce from her former husband 12 years ago, citing that he did not share the same bedroom orientation as her. Despite this, the couple had three children together, and she has been fighting for joint custody. Elechi mentioned that the court proceedings have been prolonged, prompting her to move on with her life.
In her defense, Elechi stated that neither she nor Daddy Freeze committed any offense. She drew a comparison to May Edochie’s situation, questioning if Edochie, a mother of three, had no right to move on while her divorce case was still in court. Elechi emphasized the need to change the narrative that often disgraces women for moving on during ongoing divorce proceedings.
Social media activist Verydarkman also reacted to the saga, criticizing Daddy Freeze. In response, Elechi highlighted the unfair treatment women face in similar situations and defended her actions.

Anyone who remarries during the pendency of any divorce proceedings whether man or woman is guilty of adultery and the subsequent marriage is null and void.
