Kylian Mbappe to Join Real Madrid as Free Transfer from PSG
Kylian Mbappe is set to join Real Madrid in the coming weeks after completing a transfer move from Paris Saint-Germain. The talented forward, who has been a dominant force in the French Ligue 1 for nearly a decade, chose not to extend his contract with PSG, joining the Spanish football giants on a free transfer. Real Madrid’s statement confirmed that the 25-year-old will be officially presented to the fans on Tuesday, July 16.
Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal has issued a subtle warning to Mbappe, highlighting the challenges and high expectations at the club. “Mbappe? The bar is very high. He has to earn the position,” Carvajal said in an interview with Madrid Universal ahead of the UEFA Euro 2024 final. Despite the challenges, Carvajal remains optimistic, acknowledging Mbappe’s quality and the positive impact he will have on the team. “We all know the level of Kylian Mbappe, and Real Madrid always tries to sign the best. I think there is no doubt that he will help us a lot. Let’s hope he helps us continue making history.”
Meanwhile, Mbappe’s Real Madrid jersey sales have already started breaking records on the first day.
