Mohbad’s Mum Confirms Dad’s Call for Second Autopsy and DNA Test
The mother of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has voiced her distress on social media following the singer’s father’s call for a second autopsy.
Mohbad was declared dead on September 12 in Lagos, reportedly due to an ear infection. He was previously signed to Marlian Music, a record label owned by singer Naira Marley. Less than 24 hours after his death, he was buried in his hometown of Ikorodu.
Efforts to uncover the mystery behind his death initially proved unsuccessful. Despite various attempts, the cause of his sudden death remained unclear.
However, about nine months later, a toxicology report revealed positive findings of Diphenhydramine and antihistamines in his system, providing new insights into the circumstances surrounding his death.
