Sabinus, Falz, Poco Lee, and others are seen struggling to sing the old National Anthem in a video that’s gone viral

The old National Anthem, which the president recently brought back, has caused confusion. Celebrities like Sabinus and Falz were seen in videos having a hard time singing it.

Videos of some of Nigeria’s most famous people, including Sabinus, Odumdublvck, Poco Lee, Falz, Prince Ajuda, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and former football players like Joseph Yobo, Samson Siasia, Elderson Echiéjilé, Vincent Enyeama, and Carl Ikeme, went viral. They were all at a charity match organized by Super Eagles captain Williams Troost-Ekong.

This charity match was also the launch event for Troost-Ekong’s new charitable foundation, attracting many Nigerian celebrities to support him.

Recently, Nigeria reverted to an older version of the national anthem, the one used during the country’s first and second republics. This version was changed in 1978 by former President Olusegun Obasanjo during his time as a military ruler.

At the charity match, many well-known figures struggled to sing the old anthem, which became a memorable part of the event. One of the funniest moments was when Sabinus seemed completely unbothered while the anthem was being sung.
